Veera Vahana Udyog to set up electric buses manufacturing unit in Anantapur

Veera Vahana Udyog is planning to set up an electric buses manufacturing unit (Phase-I) at Anantapur Industrial Area in Andhara Pradesh.
The unit will have a capacity to of 3,000 numbers per annum. The project will come up over 120 acre of land parcel and see an investment to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore.
In November 2019, the company inked a preliminary memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the state government to execute the project.
As per information available with Projects Today, work on the project is expected to commence by April 2020.
