KEC bags orders worth Rs2,419 cr

ts Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has secured orders worth Rs1,650cr across India, America and SAARC.

The Railway Business has secured composite and overhead electrification orders aggregating to Rs769cr across India.

At the end of 9MFY18, KEC’s order inflows stood at Rs11,300cr (up 31% yoy), coupled with L1 status of Rs4,000cr. The company had a healthy order book of ~Rs17,150cr (1.9xTTM sales) as on 9MFY18.

KEC International, a leading global EPC company, is set to benefit from increasing traction in power transmission & distribution (T&D) business. In addition, traction in the railway business, the turnaround in its cables business and net debt reduction to Rs2,000cr by FY18 are key growth triggers.

The company is currently trading at Rs382.80 down by Rs1.95 or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs384.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs385.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs394.75 and Rs380 respectively. So far 7,85,252 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs9,891.48cr.
