As many as 18 entrepreneurs will invest about ₹150 crore to set up units in the exclusive industrial park for women near here.

The 18 units cover a range of business activities from packaging, organic handloom, apparel, electronics, food processing and medical devices.

Developed by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) and FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), the park is spread over 50 acres at Sultanpur, abutting the Medical Devices Park.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao handed over the allotment letters to the 18 entrepreneurs.

“We have so far allocated 200 acres to three different women associations. We have allocated 50 acres to FLO at Sultanpur, 30 acres to COWE at Toopran and 120 acres to ALEAP,” he said.
