Aarti Industries is planning to set up a specialty & intermediates chemicals manufacturing unit at GIDC Estate, in Bharuch district of Gujarat.

The unit will have a capacity of 2,40,161 tpa. In May 2022, the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Gujarat granted environment clearance (EC) for the project.

Land levelling work is underway for the upcoming chemicals manufacturing unit.

Work on the unit is expected to commence by October 2022.
