Alcochem Agro has planned to establish Distillery & Captive in Maharashtra

Alcochem Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd., has planned to establish 100 KLPD Grain based Distillery alongwith 2.4 MW electricity generation at Gat No. 89/1 & 90/1, 90/2, 90/3, 90/4, 90/5, Balhegaon, Tal: Yeola, Dist: Nashik, Maharashtra. AAIPL has participated in National Biofuel Policy 2018.

In light of same the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas formally released the document National Policy on Biofuels 2018, which proposed blend targets of E20 and B5 be met by 2030. The new ethanol-blending program (EBP) stipulates procurement of ethanol produced directly from B-Heavy Molasses, Sugarcane Juice, and damaged Food Grains such as wheat and broken rice. Damaged food grains are allowed when they are unfit for human consumption and under surplus conditions.

Total land acquired by AAIPL is 12.57 Ha. For proposed project the built-up area of Distillery will be 1.12 Ha. It could be seen that sufficient land is available with AAIPL for establishment of distillery.

Capacity of Distillery - 100 KLPD.

Captive Power plant - 2.4 MW

Cost of the project is 119.05 Crores
