Amiya Steel Private Limited Expansion of existing Sponge Iron Plant capacity (DRI Kilns- 2x 100 TPD to 3x100 TPD and installation of WHRB based Power Plant 6 MW and AFBC based power plant 6 MW; Fly ash block (1 x 500M3/day) by M/s. Amiya Steel Pvt Ltd. along with Sinter Plant (100 TPD) and Ferro Alloys Plant (2x 9 MVA SAF; Si-Mn-27000 TPA or Fe-Si-27000 TPA or Fe-mn- 42000 TPA) by AKM Ferro Alloyes (which is the 100% subsidiary of Amiya Steel Pvt. Ltd) at Village - Tarapur,P.O/P.S - Mejia, District - Bankura, West Bengal.

Cost of the project is 140.32 Crores.

The proposed expansion in capacity is due to increase in market demand. The proposed expansion is coming up within existing plant area of 23.98acres. No additional land is required for the proposed expansion. The expected capital investment for the proposed expansion will be around Rs.173 Crores.

The total area of the project is 23.98 Acre i.e.,97043.6 sqm.
