Asansol Alloys is planning to set up three nos. of nine MVA submerged arc furnace to produce ferro alloys with capacity of 0.54 lakh tpa in Bardhaman district of West Bengal.

The project will include four nos. of 15 tonne induction furnaces for billets, CCM rolling mill and hard coke unit.

Asansol Alloys is awaiting environment clearance for the project.

Work on the project is expected to commence by December 2022.
