Northeast Frontier Railway has invited bids construction of new BG railway line project from Murkongselek station in Assam to proposed Pasighat station in Arunachal Pradesh.

The scope of work comprises construction of New BG Railway Line from Murkongselek station in the state of Assam (ch 0.780 km) to proposed Pasighat station in the state of Arunachal Pradesh (ch 27.062 km) including electrical, signal and telecommunication works on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.

The estimated value of the project is Rs 632.73 crore and scheduled to be completed in 24 months.
