The Chhattisgarh Road Development Corporation has undertaken two-laning with hard shoulder of Birkona-Pipariya-Marka-Chuchrungpur-Dadhi-Umariya Road section.

The road upgradation is from the existing chainage 0.00 km to 30.28 km (design chainage from 0.00 km to 30.27 km) in Chhattisgarh on EPC basis. The estimated value of the work is Rs 106.38 crore.

Project comprises the following works -- B T Works 27.17 km, C C Work 3.10 km, W M M 27.17 km, J S B 30.27 km, Subgrade 30.27 km, one minor bridge, and 96 culverts.

Anil Buildcon bagged the order for rehabilitation, augmentation and maintenance of the road section.

As per the information available with Projects Today, as of 31 March 2018, W M M work was completed on six km, J S B on eight km, subgrade on 24 km. Also, 67 culverts were completed.

As per the latest information, work on the project has been delayed due to issues in acquiring 1.2 km of land and the completion has now been rescheduled for December 2019.
