City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra is setting up a 18.5 MLD high-tech sewage treatment plant (STP) and 18.5 MLD raw sewage pumping station.

The plant will come up at sector-15A, Dronagiri, Navi Mumbai in Thane district of Maharashtra. The civil contractor for the project is Khilari infrastructure and the plant is being set up on the basis of contractor's own design with SBR Technology.

Work on the project commenced in February 2019 and as per the latest update gathered by Projects Today, civil work for the project is progressing as per the schedule and is likely to be completed by 31 May 2020.
