Embassy Industrial Parks acquires land parcel for warehousing facility
Embassy Industrial Parks has acquired 60 acre land parcel in Bengaluru, Karnataka from DRA Projects. The firm will use the land to build 1.3 million sq ft of warehousing facility on the outskirts of Bengaluru with a total investment of Rs 288 crore.
Embassy Industrial Parks is USD 250 million logistics platform floated by Warburg Pincus and real estate developer Embassy Group for setting up industrial parks. The upcoming industrial park is a strategically located park along the Bengaluru-Chennai highway and close to the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT).
Currently, the firm has three functional logistics and industrial parks in Delhi-NCR and Pune. The firm is in the process of acquiring over 300 acre land parcels in newer cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai, apart from expanding its existing locations.
