GAIL (India) Limited has approved revival ofexisting LPG Plant at Usar, Distt. Raigad Maharashtra and converting it into 500 KTPA Polypropylene complex with an estimated investment of Rs 8800 Cr. This is first of its kind project in India which would be using Propane Dehydrogenation technology for production of Propylene integrated with the downstream Polypropylene Unit. The project is expected to be commissioned by FY 2023 - 24. The Project is proposed to be financed with mix of internal generations and external debts.

Shares of GAIL (INDIA) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.332.2 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 343.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 70832 in over 1030 trades.
