GGC Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals is planning to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing unit at Pratapnagar in Vadodara district of Gujarat.

The project will spread over 7.15 acre of land parcel. The unit will have a capacity of 90 tpm.

Work on the project is expected to commence by October 2022.

The contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalized.

In May 2022, GGC Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals received environment clearance for the project.
