GMDA starts work on multi-speciality hospital

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has commenced work on a multi-speciality hospital under public-private partnership mode.

Proposed at an executive committee meeting in April 2018, the hospital will be spread over an area of around 7.6 acres. It will come up in Sector 67.

It is to be noted that the Committee of Secretaries on Infrastructure suggested GMDA to seek advice on the project from organisations that have expertise in the field.

Following this, the authority had sought a request for proposal (RFP) for the project last week, and is seeking public suggestions.

GMDA officials said the hospital is being constructed to provide affordable and quality healthcare to the public.
