Honeywell and Navin Fluorine, a part of the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, has set up a plant in Dahej, Gujarat, which has begun manufacturing Honeywell’s Solstice® zd.

Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel, inaugurated the plant. Solstice zd is a Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) that has various applications, including blowing agents for foam insulation and refrigeration liquid for chillers.

The plant has been set up in around two years.
