HPGCL has Tender For 57 MW Solar Projects Issued in Haryana

HPGCL has issued a tender for the development of grid-connected solar projects having 57 MW capacity at three sites in Haryana.
The Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (HPGCL) has issued a tender, seeking bids for the development of grid-connected solar projects having 57 MW capacity at three sites in the state.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, procurement, construction and commissioning of the three solar power projects on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis for a period of 25-years. The developers will also be responsible for providing comprehensive operation and maintenance for the plants for a period of 25-years.

The 57 MW tendered capacity will be developed as follows, 30 MW solar project at new ash dyke area in FTPS, Faridabad, 15 MW solar project at the area near ash dyke in DCRTPP, Yamuna Nagar and 12 MW solar project at WYC Hydel Yamuna Nagar.

The last date for submission of bids is July 17, 2019, and technical bids will be opened on July 19, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for June 28, 2019, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders. The scheduled date for commissioning of the projects is 10 months from the date of issuance of the letter of intent, with the operational acceptance test scheduled a month later.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 188 crore, and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 10 lakh/MW of the total bid capacity.
