Japanese firms to invest in Nettlinx power plant.
Japanese investment firms Takara Leben Co Ltd. and Kuni Umi Asset Management Co Ltd. will invest in the Rs. 258-crore Nettlinx SVGreen waste-to-energy plant.
This was announced by Loka Manohar Reddy, Chairman, Nettlinx Ltd., at a press conference here on Friday.
The 12 MW waste-to-energy plant will come up at the Pharma City near here. It will be built by SVGreen in technical collaboration with Hitachi Zosen over the next 18-24 months. Both the Japanese firms will jointly invest 30 per cent of Rs. 78- crore equity component of the project.
The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 258 crore. The balance fund will be mobilised from banks and other financial institutions. The company plans to set up 10 more plants over the next five years.
