Kalika Steel Alloys is planning to raise mild steel ingots and billets manufacturing unit capacity at Additional Jalna MIDC Industrial Area Phase-I in Jalna district of Maharashtra.

The project will see capacity expansion from 800 tpd to 1,800 tpd. The project will also comprise manufacturing of mild steel, structural bar, angle and channels.

Kalika Steel Alloys has received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Maharashtra for the project.

Work on the project is expected to commence by August 2022.

Contractor and machinery supplier has been finalised for the project.
