Officials informed that steps would be taken to lay a road connecting Munnar and Kodaikanal to enhance tourist flow to Kodaikanal.

Kodaikanal to Get Better Infrastructure Soon. A feasibility study was on to commission a rope car connecting Kodaikanal hill and Palani temple. A study will be done as the distance between the two spots was huge. Also to ease traffic congestion in Kodaikanal during peak season, plans were on to commission a multi-level car parking facility in the town. Introduction of helicopter service is also in pipeline. All this will surely lead to a greater infrastructure in Kodaikanal.
