Kohinoor City mini township coming up in Kurla
The Kohinoor Group is setting up a mini township 'Kohinoor City' at Kurla (west) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 300 crore.
The project includes 800 flats, schools, hospital, art auditorium, 3,00,000 sq ft mall, 4,00,000 sq ft retail space, 7,50,000 sq ft commercial office space and 50,000 sq ft hotel space.
The project will be implemented in four phases -- Phase-I will comprise 11 buildings of stilt+ seven floors each; Phase-II will comprise 12 buildings of stilt+ seven floors each and G+ five floors shopping mall; Phase-III with eight residential buildings with 250 flats, and Phase-IV with school, hospital, garden and modern amenities.
Phase-I of the project was completed in February 2008, and work on Phase-II commenced. Work on the shopping mall was completed in December 2013 and Phase-III was completed in May 2010. In Phase-IV work has been completed on hospital and school work commenced recently.
As per the latest information available with Projects Today, work on the remaining four buildings from Phase-II has been underway. The completion of the project has been rescheduled for December 2019.
