MVKAFPL have planned to go for proposed Establishment of 45 KLPD Molasses based/ Juice to Ethanol based Distillery in existing sugar unit. The sugar unit has capacity of 1250 TCD and they have separately applied for expansion to 2500 TCD. The required power is met from existing 3.0 MW Cogen Plant.

Sugar cane will be available with 15 to 20 Km radius area. Co-gen plant will help to reduce/lower down the requirement of power in state of Maharashtra as well as other state. The promoters are well experienced in relevant fields and have made a thorough study of the overall project planning and implementation with prime objective towards development of the area and its economy. Molasses is a very important by-product of the sugar industry.

The profits earned by conversion of molasses into alcohol are much higher than that of resale ofmolasses alone. Moreover, there is a good demand for alcohol in the country as production and consumption of alcohol in India are quite balanced. Also, there is a good export potential,out of the country, for the alcohol.

Presently, in the campus following projects are in operation- (1250 TCD Sugar Factory Crushing capacity with proposed expansion to 2500 TCD 3.0 MW Co-Generation Plant.

With more than 45 million of sugarcane growers in the country, the bulk of rural population in India depends on this industry. One of the agro-based enterprises in India, sugar manufacturing is the second largest agricultural industry, after the textile sector.

Proposed establishment of 45 KLPD Molasses based / Juice to Ethanol Distillery would be done in existing factory premises. Village Kusumnagar, Waghalwada, TQ. -Umri, Dist. - Nanded. Nanded Airport is at 43.80 Km; Godavari river is about 7.00 Km from proposed project site.
