NHPC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Himachal Pradesh on 25.09.2019 for execution of 449 MW Dugar HE Project located in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh. The project is a run of the river scheme on Chenab River. The estimated present day cost of the project is Rs. 4112 Crores and will generate 1610 MUs in a 90% dependable year with 95% machine availability.
