Two upcoming roads in Panaji, from Taj Vivanta to Tonca and another from Old Patto bridge to Four Pillars to be constructed as a part of Smart City project is expected to be completed by the beginning of FY24.

These roads will be constructed at a cost of Rs 120 crore. The project differs from other road projects as it involves additional works such as underground cabling for power supply and laying sewage lines.

Since the road work is extensive, which includes laying of fibre cables, more time is required to complete the project.
