Plans To Six Highway And Infrastructure Projects In Uttar Pradesh
The Central government will launch six highway and infrastructure projects worth Rs 5,300 crore in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on 8 August 2019. The projects also include 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg and Ram Van Gaman Marg
The foundation stone for all the projects will be laid by Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In Phase-I about 91 km of the 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg (250 km) will be upgraded to four lanes with an investment of nearly Rs 896 crore
Around 48 km stretch of Ayodhya-Chitrakoot of the Ram Van Gaman Marg. The road provides connectivity to Janakpur in Nepal
