Ramco Systems Bags Airline MRO Parts Order, Stock Zooms
Ramco Systems Ltd, a Chennai-based enterprise software provider of cloud, mobile and tablets, has secured an order from Airline MRO Parts (AMP) for its aviation offering. AMP is an industry leader in purchasing consolidation, inventory disposition, and onsite inventory management.
AMP helps MROs and airlines manage their inventories, both with purchasing consolidation programs on the buy side and innovative surplus solutions for overstocked and obsolete parts on the sell side.
Shares of the company surged more than 6% to touch a new one month high of Rs 349 intraday Wednesday on BSE after the announcement came in. At 12.05 pm, the Rs 10 face value shares were trading at Rs 344.80, up 5.11% from the previous closing of Rs 328.05.
“The deployment of Ramco Aviation M&E MRO Suite V5.8 will provide AMP with a state-of-the-art, scalable platform on which it can manage its parts distribution and trading business,” the company said.
Ramco Aviation Suite fulfills AMP’s requirements by offering tools around B2B connectivity, automation, mobility, hubs, and advanced visualization which bring unparalleled power to the hands of the users, along with a highly-effective dashboard which provides easy visibility into the health of key business processes, it added.
