Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, a leading manufacturer of telecom towers in lndia, on Monday said that it has received new orders of Rs 49 crore from leading telecom players in India and Nepal.

According to the company, the orders include a Rs 35 crore order for supply of 300 telecom towers to Reliance JIO and an export order of 100 telecom towers worth Rs 14 crore to Nepal.

Commenting on this new order, Shashank Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, said, “this new and repeat order from Reliance JIO shows the continued trust our clients have in us. We have also received an export order to supply towers as we try to create and increase our presence in the export markets. We have been recognised as one of the major telecom tower solution providers in India and this order further consolidates our position in the telecom space. We have always focused on project execution and increasing our operational efficiencies which have been key to our success.”

Incorporated in 2007, Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, is a provider of customized steel fabrication and infrastructure solutions in lndia. lt provides 360-degree solutions by carrying out engineering, designing, fabrication, galvanization and deployment. lts products include telecommunication towers, power transmission line towers, smart lighting poles, monopoles, guard roils, substation structures, solar module mounting structures and customized galvanized & non-galvanized steel structures.

Shares of the company jumped more than 11% to touch a new 52-week high of Rs 394.90 on BSE intraday today after the news came in. At 3.02 pm, the Rs 10 face value shares were trading at Rs 390, up 9.72% from the previous closing of Rs 355.45.
