Shamli Steels is planning to expand billets capacity from 0.29 lakh tpa to 1.44 lakh tpa in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

The project will also include expansion of rolled products from 0.27 lakh tpa to 1.98 lakh tpa by replacement of existing two x12 tonne induction furnaces with 2x20 tonne induction furnace & modification of rolling mill.

Shamli Steels is awaiting environment clearance (EC) and statutory approvals for the project.

Contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalised.
