Shamli Steels (P) Limited is existing secondary metallurgical based industrial plant located at Industrial Estate, Shamli-Panipat Road, Village-Kandela, Kairana, Shamli, Uttar Pradesh.

The existing industrial plant has installed production capacity of ~28,800 MT/Annum of Billtes/Ingots and 27,000 MTPA rolled products using MS scrap/sponge iron as basic raw material.

Shamli Steels (P) Limited is planning for capacity expansion and augmentation. In the process the industrial unit will increase its molten metal generation capacity and enhancing rolling mill capacity. After proposed expansion, installed production capacity of the industrial unit will increase from 28,800 MT/Annum to 1,44,000 MT/Annum of Billets and from 27,000 MTPA to 1,98,000 MTPA of Rolled Products.

Water for construction and domestic purpose will be drawn from borewell. Approximately 66 KLD water will be used for industrial and domestic purposes after expansion of the plant. Total Power load will increase to around 20000 KVA to run the additional plant & machinery during. The electrical power will be sourced from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL).

Total land area available with the industrial unit, presently, is around 4.93 hectare. There shall not be any change in the land area in the proposed project planning.
