The Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation is planning to implement 50 MLD sewage treatment plant near Excel Industries in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat.
The project will be implemented under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana (SJMMSVY) scheme on EPC basis.

In March 2019, bids were invited from contractors to execute the project along with all related mechanical and electrical equipment and accessories, instrumentation including miscellaneous works, etc, complete operation & maintenance of the entire project.

As per the latest information available with Projects Today, technical evaluation is under process for the project.
