Kolkata Metropolitan Water & Sanitation Authority has invited bids for construction of sewage treatment plant at Siliguri.

The scope of work includes design, drawing, construction and commissioning of sewage treatment plant (STP-I) of capacity 48 mld including interception and diversion network for tapping existing drains falling into the river Mahananda (from the western bank) for pollution abatement of river Mahananda including three months trial run and five year operations and maintenance of all civil and electromechanical works on turn key basis at under SJDA area under AMRUT-2.0.

The estimated value of the project is Rs 175 crore with completion period of 30 months.
