Veto Switchgears and Cables Ltd (Veto Switch), a Surat-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of wires, cables and electrical accessories, on Friday announced that it has received an order of six lakh pieces per annum and is in the process of establishing an LED factory in its exiting factory area in Vasai, Maharashtra.

According to the company, the production is estimated to start from October 1st, 2017, with an estimated CAPEX of 2.5 crore for the production of panel lights, tube lights, flood lights etc. The factory’s total estimated turnover is Rs 30 crore per annum.

Veto Switchgears manufactures an assortment of power equipment such as industrial cables, strand cables to telephone and co-axial wires, general switches, modular switches, ceiling fans, rechargeable fans, compact fluorescent lamps and other electrical accessories at its Haridwar plant, in Uttarkand.

Shares of the company were trading in red at Rs 187.85, down 2.36% from the previous closing of Rs 192.40, on BSE at 2.55 pm today.
