L&T bags orders worth Rs 1,482 core
The construction arm of L&T has bagged orders worth Rs 1,482 crore across its various business segments.
Power Transmission & Distribution Segment:
The segment has secured orders worth Rs 571 crore as below:
Electrification works under the Integrated Power Development Scheme and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana
From Odisha Power Transmission Corporation (OPTCL) for turnkey electrification works in five circles of WESCO utility area in Odisha
From Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam, Lucknow, for electrification works in three tehsils of Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh
Turnkey construction of solar PV plants in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan
Building & Factories Segment:
The segment has bagged orders worth Rs 514 crore for construction of a medical college and a 500-bed hospital from Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation.
Water & Effluent Treatment Segment:
The segment has secured orders worth Rs 397 crore, under EPC contract from Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Board, Odisha, to provide piped water to the rural areas.
