Indian conglomerate Larsen & Toubro has secured two work orders worth Rs 444 crore in its two business segments.

L&T's Metallurgical and Material Handling (MMH) business has bagged an engineering procurement construction order worth Rs 298 crore from Steel Authority of India for integrated water circulation system of a Steel Melt Shop (SMS III) in the Bhilai Steel plant.

L&T's Heavy Civil Infrastructure business has secured an engineering procurement construction order amounting to Rs 146 crore in the special bridges sector. Under the contract, the company will construct a four lane extradosed road bridge across the Durgam Cheruvu lake, including approach viaduct and road embankment in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana.
