RPP Infra Bags Rs 40-Cr Orders from TN Civil Supplies Corporation
Infrastructure major RPP Infra Projects Ltd has received two orders worth a total of Rs 40.4 crore from Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC).
The first order, valued at Rs 25.4 crore, is for construction of scientific storage godown of 25,000 MT capacity (hi-tech godown) at Kodavasal village and taluk in Thiruvarur district. The project is expected to be completed in 24 months, said a company filing.
According to a separate filing by the company, the Rs 15 crore worth second order, which is to be completed within 15 months, also includes construction of another scientific storage godown with a capacity of 15,000 MT at the same place.
Commenting on the development, Arulsundaram, Chairman & Managing Director of RPP Infra, said, “the Indian government has been undertaking various steps and introducing several incentives to encourage rapid infrastructure development in the country to accommodate and accelerate private investments in the infrastructure sector. RPP Infra Project is well poised to gain maximum projects across the country.”

The company stock surged after the news came in. At 2.52 pm, the stock was trading at Rs 185, up 0.03%, on BSE. The Rs 10 face value shares have an EPS of 2.59 and a P/E ratio of 19.03.
The company has an equity capital of Rs 22.60 crore and a market capitalization of Rs 418.11 crore.
