Sangam India bags new exports order of Rs 35 crore
Sangam (India) Ltd, a flagship company of the Bhilwara (Rajasthan)-based Sangam Group, has bagged a new export order worth Rs 35 crore for polyester-viscose fabrics and denim.
According to the company, these new export orders are from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Latin American and Afghanistan and are to be executed in the next four months.
R P Soni, Chairman, Sangam (India) said, “we have received an encouraging response to our denim and seamless products in the international market. What excites us is that this response is despite tough competition from other leading international players, as could offer better value proposition. We are hopeful of a much higher revenue contribution and better operating margin from exports going forward.”
According to a company filing, Sangam (India)’s pending order book position now stands at Rs 238.22 crore, of which Rs 125.60 crore pertain to exports. The company is targeting export revenue of Rs 450 crore in the current fiscal.
Sangam India Ltd, formerly Arun Synthetics Pvt Ltd, manufactures and exports synthetic suitings, denim fabric, flock fabrics, synthetic yarns, and polyester-viscose dyed yarns, in processes such as weaving, knitting, flock fabric and processing. The company’s brands include Sangam Suitings and Sangam Denim. The company has its registered office located in Maharashtra.
Sangam Group of Companies (SGC) is promoted by R P Soni and S N Modani. The company has an equity capital of Rs 39.42 crore and a market capitalization of Rs 1,257.94 crore.
